Sod Maintenance - Mowing

Mowing Generally you will need to mow your sod 7 to 10 days after installation (sorry, no riders yet!) On your first mowing set your mower on the highest setting or taking approximately 1'' off the top. Make sure your mower blades are sharp. Run the mower at slower speeds (decreasing suction). Now Go For It!

Sod Maintenance - Fertilizing

For the best results in keeping a beautiful lawn for years you should fertilize the lawn approximately 3 times a year. Use a balanced nutrient fertilizer that works with both top growth and root growth. Use a "weed and feed" only when weeds are present. Always follow the directions on the fertilizer bag for coverage and application.
